Private-Pay FAQs
What is private-pay home care?
Private-pay home care is care paid directly by the individual or family rather than through Medicaid, Medicare, or another government-funded program. It allows families to choose the services, schedule, and number of care hours that best fit their needs, subject to caregiver availability.
Do we have to sign a long-term contract?
Care arrangements are developed around the family's needs and the terms of Olivia Home Care's service agreement. All scheduling, payment, cancellation, and termination terms will be explained before care begins.
How quickly can services begin?
The start date depends on the care assessment, location, requested schedule, services needed, and availability of a qualified caregiver. Contact us as early as possible so we can begin discussing your needs.
Do you provide medical or nursing care?
Olivia Home Care provides non-medical home care. Our caregivers do not replace physicians, nurses, emergency services, or other licensed medical professionals.
Do you provide live-in or 24-hour care?
The care options listed are scheduled hourly services and do not automatically include live-in or around-the-clock care. Call our team to discuss substantial weekly support and available scheduling options.
